A single vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in WoodCounty claimed the life of a Weston man. The highway patrol reports that accident occurred at Saturday on state route 199 in PerrysburgTownship. 47 year old Matthew Paxton of Weston lost control of his auto, and struck a cement bird bath, and finally crashed head-on into a tree. Matthew Paxton sustained critical injuries, and died at the scene.
Napoleon Police investigated a narcotics incident in the 600 block of Webster street on Friday, and issued a warning in the case.
A burglary sent officers to 506 Haley Avenue Friday over the hour.
A sex complaint filed from 303 West Main Street Friday afternoon was turned over to the Henry County Sheriff’s office. That crime allegedly involved juveniles, and is now being handled through the Henry County Department of Children’s Services.
Another theft was reported at 1400 Scott Street Friday around , when a Dewault Grinder was stolen from a store.
A shoplifting incident was reported to Napoleon Police at Friday, when 30 year old Nathaniel Long of Napoleon was charged with theft, and was transported to CCNO.
Napoleon officers made an arrest Sunday morning, when 19 year old Jeffrey Davis of LibertyCenter was picked-up on a warrant for Failing to Appear in Court. Davis was held at the regional jail.
Napoleon Police assisted Defiance law officers in recovering stolen property. A vehicle was searched at 179 East Maumee Sunday afternoon.
Computers were the target of thieves in separate thefts at 1815 Scott Street around Sunday.
And at this morning, Napoleon officers arrested 20 year old Aimee Cochran of Napoleon on a warrant from Bowling Green.
The Henry County Sheriff’s office made a couple of arrests in family altercations over the weekend. 49 year old John Suber of Deshler was charged with Domestic Violence in a complaint on Keyser Street in Deshler Friday afternoon. And Sunday afternoon, 40 year old Michael Carter of LlibertyCenter was charged with Domestic Violence on High Street in LibertyCenter.
