The city of Napoleon has kicked-off their spring fire hydrant flushing program. This flushing will run through April 18th. Residents are reminded when hydrants are being flushed in your neighborhood, water may be discolored.
Fire hydrants are flushed to ensure they are working properly for fire fighting, it verifies the flow and location of hydrants, and it pulls fresh water through-out the system. Crews will be flushing fire hydrants in Napoleon from 7:30am until 3pm each day for the next three weeks. The flushing downtown will take place on April 11th between midnight and 8am; as well as on North Scott Street, Becklee Drive, and Bonaparte Drive.
