FULTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TALK ABOUT WATERLINE EXTENSION
The Fulton County Commissioners reviewed their current contract with various townships for advance life support services through the EMS program. Royalton Township was interested in enhancing their 1st shift squad with a paramedic, five days a week.
Leachate levels at the former site of the Fulton County landfill have been running higher than normal. The county is still interested in hauling this run-off from the landfill to Delta for treatment, since it is closer. Talks are underway between the two entities.
The investment report from the Fulton County treasurer indicated interest rates were at .48% for the quarter, producing over $87,000 in interest income for the county.
And about 20 residents have signed a petition for a waterline extension from Wauseon, to be extended north of the village to road 16 and K. Commissioners are reviewing that request; but there are another 40 or so land-owners along the proposed route that need to be heard from.
