HENRY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS APPROVE MORE EXTERIOR WORK FOR COURTHOUSE

The Henry County Commissioners have approved more maintenance work for the exterior of the historic courthouse, planned for this summer.   Those repairs will be primarily focused on the east side of the structure, and will include some coating work, with the total cost estimated at over $37,000.   The W.R. Meyers Company will tackle the job.

Commissioners approved some appointments to the Henry County Revolving Loan Fund Committee.  They include Wayne Michaelis and Lauri Sanns; while Donelle Parsons will fill the unexpired term of Terri Williams.

A proposal for software to track incoming and outgoing calls to Henry County offices was approved, which also covers long distance service.   That contract is for just under $5,000.

The PUCO requires renewal of the application for electric aggregation every two years; which will be handled by Palmer Energy.

And the bid for concrete boxes used in highway department projects in Henry County was awarded to a Bowling Green company at just over $70,000.
