HOLGATE COUNCIL READY FOR COURT ACTION AGAINST INCOME TAX VIOLATORS

Residents of Holgate will be paying to have brush cleaned from their properties, as part of action for village council this week.  After discussion with the village administrator, it was determined that a 25-dollar charge will be set-up, when crews make special trips to haul that brush away.

Holgate council discussed the current levy for the swimming pool that is in effect, and how to proceed in the future; but no action was taken.

Holgate residents that still owe their income tax, have a few days to pay before court proceedings will be initiated.

And the village of Holgate has received two corporate donations for the new park that is to be established at the former school site along Frazier Street.   Those donations were made by the Ohio Gas Company and City Beverage.
