A California man is facing felony charges of Human Trafficking following a traffic stop on the Ohio Turnpike in LucasCounty on Tuesday. Troopers stopped a vehicle with California registration for a speed violation around Tuesday, and detected an odor of Marijuana. A probable cause search revealed Marijuana, and a loaded handgun. Further investigation, and conversation with two females in the car indicated they were forced into prostitution: a 21 year old female from California, and a 25 year old Arizona woman. The suspect, 21 year old James Jackson of Sacramento, California is being held at the Lucas County Jail, on a first degree felony charge of Human Trafficking, along with charges of Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Possession of Criminal Tools.
