INJURY ACCIDENTS IN HENRY COUNTY, SHOOTING IN FULTON COUNTY
Several injury accidents were investigated in HenryCounty over the weekend, along with a shooting incident in FultonCounty.
The Henry County Sheriff’s office reports a single vehicle crash occurred at Saturday on road 16-C in PleasantTownship. 21 year old Jonathon Arps of Holgate lost control car while travelling northbound, and rolled the auto through a ditch, and out into a field. Arps suffered injuries; and was transported to the HenryCountyHospital by Holgate EMS. He was cited for Failure to Control, and for OVI.
Another injury accident occurred Sunday at on road Z in FlatrockTownship. Two vehicles collided on road Z, causing injuries for both drivers: 16 year old Austin Smith of Napoleon, and 37 year old Brian Roehl (rail) of Malinta. Austin Smith was transported to the HenryCountyHospital by the South Joint Ambulance District; while Brian Roehl was taken to DefianceMercyHospital by Holgate EMS.
Sunday at , two vehicles collided on state route 65 in DamascusTownship. One of the drivers, 30 year old Angela Carroll of McClure was injured and taken to the HenryCountyHospital by a family member.
The Henry County Sheriff’s office also investigated a narcotics complaint at state route 18 and road 15 near Holgate at Saturday. 25 year old Nicholas Gurley of Holgate was issued a summons to court on charges of Possession of Drugs and Drug Paraphanalia.
Deputies investigated a theft reported Saturday afternoon at 20 Interstate Drive, where 3 zero-turn lawn mowers were stolen from a business.
And a generator was stolen from a building along road 19 in FreedomTownship, in a theft reported Sunday evening.
In FultonCounty, the sheriff’s office was dispatched to property along route 109 near Delta Sunday morning at for a shooting incident. A 15 year old male subject was found wounded from a firearm, and was transported from the scene by Life Flight. Deputies recovered a revolver at the scene, and they took 57 year old Candis Sherman into custody. Sherman is now being held at the regional jail.
