NAPOLEON COUNCIL APPROVES STREET AT MIDWEST WOOD TRIM PARCEL

After discussion with some adjacent property owners, Napoleon city council has approved the replat of a parcel located at the former Midwest Wood Trim location off North Scott Street.   This land will be utilized for a street heading west from Scott, to be developed toward the bypass.

Specs for a parking lot project on Perry Street in Napoleon, where two buildings were torn-down at the intersection of West Main Street, will have to wait.   More cost estimates are being obtained for the project.

Napoleon Council allowed the liquor license renewals to proceed for Pizza Hut and the Petro Truck stop.         And a bid for a new mini-excavator was award to an Ottawa Lake, Michigan company at close to $62,600, with trade-in.  This equipment will be utilized by several city departments.

And job performance pay increases were approved for two department heads in Napoleon:  Finance director Greg Heath, and Law director Trevor Hayberger.
