There’s still about three months until the November general election; which will include voting for Napoleon city council. But until that time, council is operating without one of its seats filled, due to the passing of member, Jim Hershberger. Napoleon Council has sent a letter to the Henry County Republican Party, seeking a nomination for that seat, which is required in the next 30 days. That time-frame would expire around September 3rd.
If the Republican Party does not come-up with a name at that point; then Napoleon’s council would have the opportunity to select a new member of city council.
