Defiance Local News

Is it necessary to set funding limits for water and sewer projects in the city of Napoleon?   Not yet.   That’s the word after talking with consultants regarding Napoleon’s financial rating, which is in good shape with the current water and sewer projects.   That news was part of the discussion at the Napoleon Council ‘finance and budget’ committee Monday night.

The issue of raising the bid level for projects to $50,000 in Napoleon was tabled.

A request for an additional $2,000 for the Henry County CIC budget will be tackled later in November, when Napoleon Council reviews other additional funding requests.

And it looks like Napoleon’s income tax revenue is keeping up with estimates from earlier in the year, after a review by the ‘finance and budget’ committee.
