THAW PROGRAM TO PROVIDE HEATING HELP IN HENRY COUNTY

The brutal winter weather has hammered a number of families with high heating bills this year; but Henry County Job and Family Services has re-introduced a program that can offer help.  It’s ‘project thaw’, and provides a one-time payment for low income families, to help them survive winter heating expenses.  About $70,000 has been set aside for this heating assistance program in Henry County.  Applications may be submitted between February 20th and March 31st at the office of Henry County Job and Family Services, in the Hahn Center in Napoleon.
