The Wauseon school board appears close to a contract settlement with their teacher’s association. The board has scheduled a special meeting for this morning at , to ratify a tentative agreement between the two sides.
At their regular session Monday night, the Wauseon board adopted a number of personnel resolutions. The board accepted the resignation of Kim Murry as head librarian, a position she’s held since 2010. That slot will be filled by LaChelle Thomas.
A one-year contract was approved for Caitlyn Lay as the elementary music teacher; and Erin Cheesboro was hired as a full-time bus driver for Wauseon Schools.
In supplemental positions, Mike Colon was hired as a 9th grade volleyball coach; while Kayla Heising was moved to varsity assistant.
Angie Hill was approved as middle school cheerleading advisor, and in softball, Justine Johnston will return as varsity coach, with Shelley Cain hired as assistant in softball.
